Proverbs 3:5-6

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart;

do not depend on your own understanding.

6 Seek his will in all you do,

and he will show you which path to take.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Our faith journey can be pretty uncertain at times. Trusting God with all our hearts means letting go of our understanding and aligning with His. When we face tough times, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the unknown. But scripture reassures us that God is guiding us through every twist and turn. Just like a farmer waiting for seedlings to sprout, we sometimes have to trust that growth is happening even when we can’t see it.

Trust builds over time through experiences of faithfulness. Think about the times God has guided you through tough situations. Remember, trusting Him brings clarity to our confusion and peace to our worries. Today, let’s actively trust, lean in, and rest in the knowledge that He has a purpose beyond what we can see right now.

• What does it mean to you to trust God fully in difficult times?

• How can you remind yourself of God’s faithfulness in the past?

• What steps can you take to cultivate trust in your daily life?

• Pray for the ability to fully trust God with your worries and fears.

• Ask God to show areas in your life where you need to let go of control.
