2 Corinthians 12:9-10
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 unveils a powerful truth about God's grace and strength in our weakness. Instead of viewing our weaknesses as hindrances, we can see them as opportunities for God’s power to shine through. This radical shift in perspective invites us to embrace our limitations and depend on God’s strength. When we acknowledge our need for Him, His grace becomes sufficient, and His power is displayed in our lives.
In moments of weakness, we might feel tempted to rely on our own strength or become discouraged. However, these verses encourage us to delight in our weaknesses because they create space for God’s power to be evident. Our weaknesses are not obstacles but opportunities for God’s grace to work in and through us.
How can you shift your perspective to see your weaknesses as opportunities for God's power to be displayed in your life?
